The first RICS Presents event from RICS Training was held on 5th September 2016, with the theme of Building Resilience. Our experts featured in this video from the event spoke on a wide range of topics around the theme of resilience. Stuart Smith of Arup London, demonstrated resource misuse in the built environment and how circular economy principles can add resilience to the supply chain. Prof. Nick Whitehouse MBE, Founding Member of Buildoffsite Executive Group, discussed the benefits of offsite construction and its potential as a solution to the housing gap. While Alasdair Graham, Cegos UK, provided advice on how we can build our personal resilience to the many challenged we face day-to-day.
