Who is this course for?
This e-learning is suitable for all managers and leaders responsible for managing cross-functional teams.
Course Content
This e-learning course consists of two modules covering the following topics:
1. Ensuring cross-functional coordination
This module develops your ability to identify the different coordination mechanisms and their aims, use these mechanisms and the associated tools, evaluate and manage the impact of these mechanisms on stakeholders and their activities.
2. Effective cross-functional manager communication
Upon completion, you will learn to introduce a system that encourages cooperation between stakeholders and their line managers; Identify the professional frames of reference of the different stakeholders involved in a cross-functional mission; Adapt your communication style to suit the frames of reference of other people and work with them to build a common working reference.
3. Leadership of the cross-functional manager
This module concludes the course by using levers of influence as a cross-functional manager, exercising your leadership through persuasive techniques, and dealing with resistance from stakeholders. You will be capable of selecting the levers of influence and actions you need to make the stakeholders involved in a cross-functional mission more receptive and committed; using persuasive techniques to give your messages more impact; managing the different types of resistance shown by stakeholders.
